It's a Win Win, His timing is nothing short of perfect.
If pictures could talk, the first picture would tell a story of new beginnings—the moment I received the keys to Suite 2, 5046 Boylston Hwy. It captures the excitement of stepping into a space full of dreams and where hard work would soon take place.
The second picture speaks to the values I carry every day. Wearing my “Empowered Women, EMPOWER WOMEN” t-shirt, it represents a commitment to lifting others, strength, and the power of shared success.
Together, these images tell a story of growth, purpose, and the journey toward making a meaningful impact wherever the Lord leads me.
HE has truly blessed me since opening THE SPA at Mills River on August 1st, 2017.
When you walk through our doors, you’ll see the words on the wall: “Welcome. May all who come as guests, leave as friends.” This little sticker reflects the heart of my business. It’s a reminder that THE SPA at Mills River hasn’t been just a place to relax and receive spa treatments; we have shared life. We have all shared many changes —personally, professionally, physically and spiritually in these 9 years together.

Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near.
Twenty-five years ago, I dreamed of owning my own business. I've been blessed to serve some wonderful people and work with exceptional women. I spoke with my financial advisor two years ago about retirement and he wanted to put a plan together. I said Boaty, when I wake up and no longer love going to work, we’ll talk.
Fast forward two years and things have drastically changed. Our first grandbaby, a calling to serve at our church and a very unexpected tragedy. However, through all these… one thing remains. I still love waking up knowing I have a fruitful career that I love.
God has given me the opportunity to slow down, to not neglect meeting together, to motivate, serve, and encourage others. HIS time is near, and we are not promised tomorrow—
I think I realize that now more than ever. I am thankful for HIS perfect timing to allow me time with my family, my brother, my church, and my community. In these moments of reflection, I find peace, recognizing that true strength comes from trusting in HIS plan.
As of August 1st, 2025, my dear friend and sister in Christ, Angie Lahue, will be relocating her business to our location. After much prayer, Jesus spoke clearly to me....Angie! This is one of the biggest blessings to have someone so special, not only to me but to so many, to take over this space with the same Christian values and a heart to love each guest as I have for the past 25 years in business, and especially the last 9 years as THE SPA at Mills River, is truly a profound blessing and gift!
Though my role as owner will come to a close, I will continue to do what I love as one of Angie's team members.While sitting at my station working part-time and getting to witness this answered prayer unfold. Angie and the dedicated SPA Team will join together as BELOVED Body Spa, carrying forward my mission.
